Why Contribute to the St. Louis Psychoanalytic Institute?
The St. Louis Psychoanalytic Institute is a premier center for advanced psychoanalytic training. By applying a highly informed understanding of human behavior through patient therapy, our mental health professionals provide those in need with insights into core human dilemmas. The Institute has touched the lives of millions with our ability to provide scholarships; outreach and patient treatment based on a sliding scale fee, as well as attract the finest students and faculty all because of generous donors like you. We impact the mental well being of many individuals in the St. Louis region through our professional training programs, affordable clinic services, research, community education, collaborative efforts, and our unique Betty Golde Smith Library.

Annual Giving
By supporting our mission to improve mental health in the St. Louis region, you take a personal role in preserving our extraordinary Institute. Together, we strive to raise awareness of psychoanalysis in order to offer a better understanding of our internal world.
The Institute established the D. W. Winnicott Society in 2002 to honor our donors who provide unrestricted, annual support of $1,000 or more in a fiscal year. Society members are invited to a Thank You celebration and a Winnicott lecture given by one of our psychoanalysts. Please consider joining the many members of our distinguished society in supporting a premier center for psychoanalytic education and treatment throughout the St. Louis region.
