Child and Adolescent Psychodynamic Psychotherapy
This course in Child and Adolescent Psychodynamic Psychotherapy Program is designed to give professionals working with children the opportunity to engage in additional didactic education in psychoanalytically oriented child psychotherapy. The course is offered in conjunction with the Advanced Psychodynamic Psychotherapy Program.

This course meets for eight weeks Monday evenings (7:00p.m.-10:00p.m.) during May and June 2011 and May and June 2012. In addition to class work, each student meets twice weekly for clinical group consultation offering a variety of current child psychoanalytic clinical perspectives.
Over the two years, the course will cover such areas as:
- working with parents
- evaluation of children and adolescents
- case formulation through case conferences
Eligibility
This program is available to current students in the Advanced Psychodynamic Psychotherapy Program (APP) and past graduates of the APP program as well as professionals who have graduated from a comparable program with another educational institution.
Credit
Credit may be arranged through some university programs. Continuing Education credits are available; the 8-week course qualifies for 24 CME/CE credits.
Tuition
$600 per year

Attach a short essay (not more than one page) on how this training in child psychodynamic psychotherapy would apply to your current work situation.
APP Alumni or current APP Students: please send a brief note requesting consideration including a description of any special circumstances (financial concerns, scheduling or personal issues) that might affect or complicate your participation in this program along with a short essay (not more than one page) on how this training would apply to your current work situation. Alumni should send a work history or CV along with their letter of interest.
