Is private practice in your future?
The Schiele Clinic can help you get there.
Our 12-month training program offers an intensive learning experience in individual psychodynamic psychotherapy. You will develop your clinical skills while building a caseload you can take with you into private practice. This is an unpaid training position—but the value is substantial.
At the heart of the training experience is the weekly case conference—a space where trainees present clinical work, ask hard questions, and learn alongside peers and experienced clinicians. You will observe how seasoned psychoanalysts and psychotherapists think through complex clinical material in real time, and you will gain exposure to a wider range of cases than your own caseload could ever provide. These sessions model the kind of ongoing professional consultation that defines psychodynamic practice throughout a career. Add weekly individual supervision with an experienced clinician who provides dedicated mentorship throughout the year, and you are getting the kind of training most programs cannot match.
Most training programs charge for supervision. We do not. For postgraduates pursuing licensure, we provide all the supervision hours you need at no cost—a benefit worth thousands of dollars.

“I began the Practicum program as a way simply to work toward my license, but the Practicum offers more than clinical hours and supervision. I am surrounded by committed professionals who support my development by helping me deepen my understanding of psychodynamic psychotherapy through their wisdom, experience and encouragement.”
— Joel Thomas, former Practicum student, now in Private Practice
