When you make a donation to the Saint Louis Psychoanalytic Institute……
- You support low fee treatment for individuals who may not otherwise be able to access care;
- You develop the next generation of psychotherapists by underwriting the training of graduate level and provisionally licensed therapists;
- You advocate for mental well-being for our community
Your gift is used thoughtfully. Over 80 cents of every dollar raised goes to mental health education and services in the St. Louis Community.

Matching Gifts
Many companies will match your donation to a not-for-profit corporation as a way of participating in philanthropy in the community. Be sure to check your employer’s policy on matching charitable gifts! Here are just a few companies who have matching gift policies:
Planned Gifts
Planned gifts play a crucial role in the continued progress and sustainability of the Institute, and make a long-lasting impact on mental health in our community. Planned gifts can be made now or deferred to a later time, and can include bequests through a will, retirement plan assets, and charitable trusts. The thoughtful process of arranging planned gifts to the Institute focuses your philanthropic goals and maximizes your tax savings and estate-planning benefits. Planned gifts are simple and affordable opportunities to make a lasting impact on mental health in the St. Louis community.
In 2002, the Institute established the Legacy Alliance to honor the inspiring generosity and vision of donors who make planned gifts. We are very grateful to the following members of the Legacy Alliance:
