The Betty Golde Smith Library
The Betty Golde Smith Library is one of the top psychoanalytic libraries in the country. The collection includes over 4,500 books and 18 current journal subscriptions in the fields of psychoanalysis, psychotherapy, and psychiatry. Faculty, candidates, students, and interested members of the surrounding academic, professional, and lay communities are welcome to visit, conduct research, and read for current awareness.

- Psychoanalytic Electronic Publishing (PEP Web) — full-text archives of dozens of psychoanalytic journals, books, and videos (personal password required for remote access)
- Current Journal Articles of Interest — a curated selection updated by the librarian
- Library Resources for Students — course readings, SharePoint access, and PEP Web login information
Hours, Location, and Contact
The Library is open Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. It is located at the Saint Louis Psychoanalytic Institute, 7700 Clayton Road, 2nd Floor, Saint Louis, MO 63117.
The librarian is available on site on Monday and Wednesday, from 12:00 to 4:00 p.m., and by appointment.

Journal Subscriptions
The library maintains subscriptions to the following journals. Current issues are available in print when you visit the library. Full-text online access to most of these titles is available through PEP Web, except for the most recent years, which fall within PEP’s embargo period.
