Dr. Blain, currently partially retired, has 30 years of post-doctoral clinical practice. She offers psychoanalytic psychotherapy while integrating it with family therapy and other clinical approaches. Prior to earning her doctorate, Dr. Blain worked for two years in special education and as a licensed masters degree psychologist in three community mental health centers over about twenty years. Her patients are mostly adults; but, she has some children and a specialty in parent-child problems.
