Candidate, Adult Psychoanalysis Analytic Training Program
Harold earned his PhD at Emory University in Atlanta, GA. He is currently a 4th year Analytic Candidate and lecturer at the St. Louis Psychoanalytic Institute. In 2025, he was awarded the Edith Sabshin Teaching Award by the American Psychoanalytic Association. He is also an Associate Profession of Healthcare Ethics at St. Louis University. He authored the book The Crisis of US Hospice Care: Family & Freedom at the End and has published many articles on Bioethics and other topics related to ethical issues regarding end-of-life care.
