Tuition and Refund Schedule
Analytic Training
2026–2027 rates apply if you are taking all analytic courses offered. If you are not taking all of the courses, you will be charged the rate for each individual course. Tuition rates are determined by application date, not acceptance date.
- Early Tuition: $6,095 (register by April 30, 2026)
- Regular Tuition: $6,305 (register May 1 through June 30, 2026)
- Late Tuition: $6,673 (register July 1 through August 30, 2026)
Advanced Candidates who have completed the didactic curriculum are charged an annual fee of $960.
Open Analytic Theory Classes
- Early Tuition: $69 per session (apply by May 30, 2026)
- Regular Tuition: $71 per session (apply from June 1, 2026, up to six weeks before the class begins)
Advanced Psychodynamic Psychotherapy Program
2026–2027 tuition rates are per year for the two-year program. Tuition is subject to change annually. Tuition rates are determined by application date, not acceptance date.
- Early Rate: $3,500 (apply by April 30, 2026)
- Regular Rate: $3,678 (apply by June 30, 2026)
- Late Rate: $3,941 (apply after June 30, 2026)
Scholarships
All Analytic Candidates, Advanced Psychodynamic Psychotherapy students, and Open Class students may apply for tuition assistance, based on financial need and/or merit.

Payment Arrangements
NOTE: All Candidates, Advanced Psychodynamic Psychotherapy students, and Open Class students not paying their tuition in full must enroll for automatic monthly recurring tuition payments. The monthly required payments are based on a 10-month payment schedule (September 1 – June 1) for an academic year. Your monthly payments will be determined by the payment plan you choose on your tuition agreement. You may choose to pay your tuition in full, pay ten equal payments, or pay an initial amount over $100 that will be subtracted from your total tuition with the remaining tuition being divided into ten equal payments. Any scholarship funds and application fees will be deducted from your total tuition prior to your Tuition Agreement being sent out. If you are unable to make the monthly amount required, please contact our Director of Business Administration to make an arrangement that will meet your needs.

Refund Schedule
The following refund schedule applies to the Advanced Psychodynamic Psychotherapy Program, Analytic Training, and other Institute programs. Refund amounts are based on the percentage of class length elapsed before the class is dropped.
- One month or more before the start of class: 100% refund
- Fewer than four weeks before the start of class, and before the first day: 75% refund
- First week of class: 50% refund
- After the first week of class: no refund
Students dropping courses do not receive refunds for non-refundable deposits or application fees.
