Katelyn Kalstein, ND

Advanced Psychodynamic Psychotherapy Program Student

Dr. Katelyn Kalstein is a licensed naturopathic doctor, acupuncturist, and psychotherapist with over 25 years of experience in the the psychedelic space. An expert in integrative mental health, she specializes in helping clients heal from developmental trauma and a wide range of mental health challenges using a holistic, multidisciplinary approach.

Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, Dr. Kalstein spent two decades in Los Angeles and Seattle, where she practiced primary care medicine with a focus on integrative mental health. She served as the Clinical Director for Field Trip Health in Los Angeles, a ketamine-assisted psychotherapy clinic. Previously she was Lead Facilitator at 40 Years of Zen, leading intensive week-long programs at the cutting edge of neuroscience and mindfulness. She holds advanced certifications in Psychedelic Therapy and Research from the California Institute of Integral Studies (CIIS) and is a MAPS-certified therapist.

Now based in Nashville, she combines her training in naturopathic medicine, Chinese medicine, and psychotherapy to offer deeply supportive, trauma-informed care at Simply Being Therapy. In her current practice, she integrates modalities such as psychodynamic psychotherapy, somatic therapy, and Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP).
